PROFESSIONALS WHO CARE EVERY STAGE OF YOUR LIFE At Atrium OB/GYN, we strive to meet the obstetrical and gynecologic needs of our patients throughout the stages of life. With the help of our physicians, nurse practitioners, and radiology technicians, we provide gynecologic care, obstetrical care, radiology services and other in-office treatments and therapy. Our physicians are on call 24 hours a day/seven days a week and have privileges at Aultman Hospital and Mercy Medical Center. Our medical team consists of:

David R. Brandau, M.D.

David R. Brandau M.D.

Dr. David Brandau graduated medical school with a doctorate of medicine from The Ohio State University College of Medicine in 1976. He completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Akron City Hospital in 1980. Dr. Brandau is Board Certified and holds active privileges at Aultman Hospital, Mercy Medical Center, and Affinity Medical Center. Specific areas of interest are menopause and Age Management Medicine. He is also pursuing an advanced degree in Bioethics. Dr. Brandau is a member of several professional societies including the Ohio State Medical Association, American Medical Association, and the American Congress of Obstetrics and Gynecology. He is a member of the Christian Medical Dental Association, and through that organization he and his wife, Donna, volunteer on international medical mission trips. They have four grown children, and enjoy spending time with grandchildren and raising alpacas at their country home.


James R. Wilson, M.D.

Dr. James Wilson graduated from medical school with a doctorate of medicine from the Medical College of Ohio in 1990 where he also completed his residency in 1994. He is Board Certified and is an active member of the American Congress of Obstetrics and Gynecology. He holds active staff privileges with Aultman Hospital, Mercy Medical Center, and Affinity Medical Center. Dr. Wilson is an Assistant Professor of Ob/Gyn at Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Medicine (NEOUCOM), Vice Chairman of the Ob/Gyn Department at Aultman Hospital, and a Mentor in the Ob/Gyn Program at Aultman Hospital. He is married to his wife Tamsin and they have three children Miah, Coen, and Evan.

Dr. Naomi Wychanko graduated from medical school with a doctorate of medicine from the University of North Dakota School of Medicine in 1998. She completed her residency at Akron City Hospital in 2002. Dr. Wychanko is Board Certified and holds active privileges at Aultman Hospital, Mercy Medical Center, and Affinity Medical Center. She is a member of the American Congress of Obstetrics and Gynecology and the Ohio State Medical Association. Dr. Wychanko is married and has two children.

Sara L. Lemin. M.D. graduated from medical school with a doctorate of medicine from Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Medicine (NEOUCOM), 2003. She completed her residency at Aultman Hospital in 2007. Dr. Lemin is Board Certified and holds active privileges at Aultman Hospital, Mercy Medical Center, and Affinity Medical Center. She is a member of American Congress of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Lemin has one daughter and one son.

Breeze M. Goodrich, M.D. graduated from medical school with a doctorate of medicine from Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Medicine in 2005. She completed her residency at Aultman Hospital in 2009. Dr. Goodrich is Board Certified and holds active privileges at Aultman Hospital, Mercy Medical Center, and Affinity Medical Center. Dr. Goodrich is married with five children, including triplet sons. She is active in a local Christian church and has participated in medical missions.

Dr. Peter DiGiacomo is a life-long resident of Canton and graduated from the Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1990 after obtaining his undergraduate degree at Walsh University. After a one year rotating internship at Doctor's Hospital of Stark County, he completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Aultman Hospital in 1995. He is Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology, and is a Fellow in the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. He comes to Atrium Ob/Gyn after many years at Canton Women's Center in North Canton. He holds active staff priveleges at Aultman Hospital, Mercy Medical Center, and Affinity Medical Center. He and his wife Julie have a daughter Samantha, and a son, Justin.

Dr. Craig O'Dear graduated from medical school with a doctorate of medicine from The Ohio State University College of Medicine in 1995. He completed his residency at Stamford Hospital in 1999. Dr. O'Dear is board certified and holds active priveleges at Aultman Hospital, Mercy Medical Center and Alliance Hospital. He is a member of the American Congress of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. O'Dear is married and has one child.

Dr. Jay Patibandla graduated from medical school with a doctorate of medicine from Northeast Ohio Medical University in 2013. He completed his residency at Aultman Hospital in 2017. Dr. Patibandla is board eligible and holds active privileges at Aultman Hospital and Mercy Medical Center. He is a member of the American Congress of Obstetrics and Gynecology


Stephanie I. Hawkins, C.N.P., N.C.M.P

Stephanie I. Hawkins DNP WHNP-BC, FNP-BC, NCMP, APRN

Stephanie has been in practice as a Nurse Practitioner since 1996. She is board certified in both Family Practice and Women’s Health. She began her formal nursing education at Xavier University for undergraduate studies and became a nurse in 1992. She then continued her education to obtain a Master of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner from the University of Cincinnati and a Post Master’s Certificate in the Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner Program from The University of Michigan. In 2016, Stephanie completed her formal nursing education with a terminal degree by obtaining a Doctorate of Nursing Practice Degree from Walsh University. She then entered business school and obtained a Post Master’s Certificate in Healthcare Administration. Stephanie is also a certified Menopause Practitioner from The North American Menopause Society and a certified CPR and First Aid Instructor through ASHI. She holds membership in multiple associations and has served as faculty for two local universities. Stephanie works as both a Nurse Practitioner and Clinical Director in the office. She is a native of Canton where she resides with her husband. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, traveling, teaching yoga, and has become a beekeeper.


Mary Beth Marburger, M.S.N., C.R.N.P.

Mary Beth Marburger, CNP, APRN

Mary Beth acquired her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Malone University in 1997 and later obtained her Master of Science in Nursing from Kent State University in 2011. She is Board Certified in Women’s Health. Mary Beth lives on a small mini farm in northern Tuscarawas County, is married to her husband, Jeff, has three grown sons, Andrew, Caleb, and Jacob, and a daughter Lily, of the home.


Nicole Bell MSN, CNP

Nicole A. Bell, CNP, APRN

Nicole received her Bachelors of Science in Nursing in 1997 from the University of Akron. She worked in Labor and Delivery for 16 years before obtaining her Masters of Science in Nursing with focus in Women's Health in 2014 from Kent State University. She is Board Certified in Women's Health and Inpatient Obstetrics through the National Certification Corporation. She is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. Nicole is married to her husband, Josh, and has two sons, Ryan and Tyler. Nicole is active with her family enjoying camping, fishing, and skiing. She also spends time watching her two sons play basketball, baseball and race dirt bikes.


Louann Alexovich, C.N.M.

Louann Alexovich, CNM, APRN

Louann earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Kent State University in 1988. In 1990 she earned a Master of Science in Nursing with a Certificate in Midwifery from Case Western Reserve University. She is a board certified Nurse Midwife with 24 years of experience in Nurse Midwifery practices in North and South Carolina. She is a member of the American College of Nurse Midwives, and the Northeast Ohio ACNM affiliate. While practicing as a CNM in North Carolina she served as North Carolina Chapter Chair, Legislative Liaison and Member of a number of North Carolina State task forces on maternal and fetal well-being. Louann served as a member of the Advance Practice Nursing Coalition in the State of North Carolina for two years. In 1993 she was one of the founding mothers of the midwifery service at Catawba Valley Medical Center in Hickory, NC where she attended the births of thousands of babies and taught hundreds of students in the last 20 years. She is proud of the fact that the midwifery practice continues today helping to provide the hospital with a Five Star rating in Obstetrics, Magnet Hospital designation for the last 9 years and a community reputation for excellent care. Louann is married to her husband Tim and enjoys spending time camping and enjoying family activities with her eight children and two dogs.
